Jones graduates from basic training
Army Pvt. Amy J. Jones has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine-week program, the soldier completed training in military discipline and studies, Army core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Jones is a 2008 graduate of Centennial High School, Corning. She is the daughter of Rosser Jones of Red Bluff and the granddaughter of Denice Woods of Corning.
