Chase Glenn
Chase Glenn of Corning has successfully completed California Highway Patrol (CHP) cadet training and is assigned to duty at the CHP's Newhall area office near Los Angeles. Officer Glenn is a 2005 graduate of Corning High School. He also attended Butte Community College where he studied business administration. Prior to joining the CHP, he worked in maintenance for the Corning Union Elementary School District. Cadet training included vehicle patrol, accident investigation, first aid, apprehension and arrest of suspected violators – including those who drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Training at the CHP Academy included traffic control, report writing, recovery of stolen vehicles, assisting the motoring public, issuing citations, emergency scene management and knowledge of the Vehicle, Penal Code and Health and Safety codes.
