Mash Bash set for Sept. 24

Mash Bash 2011 will be presented again this year by The Northern California Veterans Museum & Heritage Center.

This banquet fundraiser will take start at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Redding Airport, 3770 Flight Ave., Redding.

Admission price is $40 and includes a tri-tip and chicken barbecue dinner and one free drink.

Live music will be presented by FOG, and there will also be a live auction, helicopter rides and antique aircraft to view.

This is the same weekend that the Redding Air Show is taking place and organizers suggest participants make a day of it enjoying the airshow and then end the day at the museum's fall fundraiser.

Proceeds will help in the next phase of the museum project which is the 7-acre Liberty Park.
