Police Logs: Jan. 8

Joshua Greg Wiedemann, 20, of Corning, was arrested at 3:47 p.m., in the 200 block of Edith Avenue, on suspicion of committing battery. Weidemann was booked into the Tehama County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Employees at 99 Cents Plus Grocery, 2000 block of Solano Street, reported being robbed at gunpoint by a white male adult wearing a red bandana over his face with green and black on it, a grey sweatshirt and black jeans. Large area search conducted.
