Relay for Life slated
Teams are forming now for the Relay for Life 2013 on April 27-28.

Pay It Forward works today
The Pay It Forward group will be setting up a false "gift store" to display local items and raise awareness on the many products available in town.
The work day begins at 8 a.m. today. The group will meet at 1311 Solano St.
Discovering Women's Health
Dr. Bradley Smith, an orthopedic surgeon, will be discussing osteoarthritis, joint pain and the latest treatment, from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Red Bluff Community Center, 1500 S. Jackson St.

Bunco for a great cause
The Corning DC Kids will hold a Bunco Nite from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the Maywood Middle School cafeteria.
Pre-sale tickets are $10 or pay $12 at the door.

Raw Cuisine Class to be held
Rose Bowen will be teaching a class on raw cuisine from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Jan. 29. at the Red Bluff Seventh-day Adventist Church, 720 S. Jackson St.

Orland firefighters put on feed
Orland Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its 58th annual Spaghetti Feed from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Feb. 2.
The event is at 810 Fifth St. The cost is donation only. There will be a cake auction, silent auction and raffle. Proceeds will be used to purchase rescue equipment.

4-H Fun Night planned
The 4-H Fun Night will be held from 4 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in the auditorium of the Tehama District Fairgrounds.
There will be games, silent auction, Polynesian-style Teriyaki dinner and entertainment.
McConnell grants available
The McConnell Fund will award grants in the spring and fall to Tehama County organizations in the area of arts and culture, children, youth and education, community vitality, environment, health care, recreation, and social services.
Grant requests for the spring cycle must be postmarked by 5 p.m. March 6. Mail to Community Foundation, 1335 Arboretum Drive, Suite B, Redding, CA, 96003.
