Relay for Life planned
Teams are forming now for the Relay for Life 2013 on April 27-28.

Hoop competition is Sunday
The Knights of Columbus Council No. 9135 and Maywood Middle School will be holding a free-throw shooting competition for anyone 10 to 14 tomorrow.
Registration begins at 1 p.m. A parent or guardian must bring a copy of a birth certificate.
Red Bluff Elks set fundraiser
The Red Bluff Elks are holding a spaghetti dinner from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 2 at the lodge at 355 Gilmore Road. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for a child. A silent action will be held.

Student art contest scheduled
A student art contest is open to K-12 students through the Tehama County Arts Council.
This year's theme is "Into the Woods."
Entry forms and rules are available at the chamber of commerce offices in Corning, Los Molinos and Red Bluff. The deadline for submission is 4 p.m. Feb. 15.

Bunco for a great cause
The Corning DC Kids will hold a Bunco Nite from 4-6 p.m. today at the Maywood Middle School cafeteria.
Pre-sale tickets are $10 or pay $12 at the door.

Raw cuisine class to be held
Rose Bowen will be teaching a class on raw cuisine from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Bluff Seventh-day Adventist Church, 720 S. Jackson St.

Stalking awareness meet slated
Alternatives to Violence is holding a presentation to promote awareness about stalking at 2 p.m. Wednesday at in the Sycamore Room of the Tehama County Department of Social Services, 310 Main St. in Red Bluff.

Orland firefighters put on feed
Orland Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its 58th annual Spaghetti Feed from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 2.
The event is at 810 Fifth St. The cost is donation only.
There will be a cake auction, silent auction and raffle. Proceeds will be used to purchase rescue equipment.

4-H Fun Night planned
The 4-H Fun Night will be held from 4-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the auditorium of the Tehama District Fairgrounds.
There will be games, silent auction, Polynesian-style Teriyaki dinner and entertainment.
