Olive Hut catches the spotlight

The Olive Hut is the Corning Chamber of Commerce business spotlight this week. They are located at 3487 Highway 99 - just past South Avenue - phone (530) 824-5920. Their summer hours are 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and their winter hours are 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.

The Olive Hut specializes in homemade olives and olive oils, grown on the Patton's olive ranch, which is a fourth-generation family ranch. Their brand is La Conda, which is "Farm to You", and their line of products include: garlic-stuffed, habenero-stuffed, almond-stuffed, and many other types of stuffed olives which are processed at the Olive Hut to ensure freshness. Their regular and flavored olive oils have won Gold and Silver medals at the Los Angeles County Fair.

A deli has recently been added to the Olive Hut and they have begun providing sandwiches, wraps, pasta salads and smoothies, so check out the new addition.

Scott and Lynda have been married for almost 27 years and have four children: Noelle, Elliott, Oliver, and Arielle. All of them have worked at the Olive Hut and the ranch.
