Martinovich - Mootz

Blaire Martinovich of Corning and Jim Mootz of Chico, wed Aug. 8, 2009, on Saunders Lake in North Bend, Ore. The reception was held on Aug. 21 at the Martinovich residence in Corning.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Tami Martinovich of Corning. Blaire is a 2005 graduate of Corning Union High School. She is currently attending California State University, Chico and is a manager at California Carwash in Chico.

The groom is the son of Vickie Mootz and the late Jim Mootz of Chico. Jim is a 2004 graduate of Chico Union High School and he is employed by PG&E.

The Mootz's spent their honeymoon on the West Coast visiting the redwoods, caves, aquariums and several beaches. They also went horseback riding, whitewater kayaking, dune riding and on a jet boat trip.

The couple reside in Chico.
