Briefs: Christmas Mixer in Corning

The 13th annual Corning Christmas Mixer will be held 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Premiere West Bank, 1201 Solano St.

There will be appetizers and refreshments, the winners of Christmas Tree Lane, Senior of the Year and the Lighted Christmas Parade will be announced.

A light against crime

The Richfield Neighborhood Watch is asking all Tehama County residents to keep their porch lights on each Monday during December as part of the Lights on 2012 campaign.

The program is designed to help local law enforcement.

The campaign has proven to be effective in deterring criminal activity during the holiday season.

Healthy Eating Program offered

Learn about Physical Activity-Super Tracker at a workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday at The Corning Family Resource Center 1488 South St.

Little League taking signups

Corning Little League will hold signs from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 19 at West Street School cafeteria.
