Claunch completes basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman Bobby Claunch, a Corning High alum, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Claunch was trained in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Completing the eight-week program also credited him with four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Claunch is the son of David Claunch and grandson of Ruth Claunch, both of Corning. He graduated from Corning High in 2010.
