FELONY ARRESTS

Melinda Ann Provence, 30, of Corning, was arrested by Corning police at 10:25 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 1600 block of Fig Lane, on suspicion of committing a parole violation. Provence was booked in the Tehama County Jail with no bail set.

Dawn Kathleen James, 31, of Corning, was arrested by Corning police at 1:22 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 400 block of El Verano Avenue, on suspicion of committing battery on a non-cohabitating, former spouse. James was booked into the Tehama County Jail.

William Jonathan Brown, 31, of Corning, was arrested by Corning police at 1:51 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 400 block of El Verano Avenue, on suspicion of committing battery on a non-cohabitating, former spouse. Brown was booked into the Tehama County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
