Doug and Shelly Hargens of Corning would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Yvonne Mann to James Michael Brooks, both of Corning.

The bride elect is a 2002 graduate of Corning Union High School, and is attending Butte College. Emily is a nail technician, and works at Classic Touch in Corning.

The groom to be is the son of Steve and Carolyn Brooks of Corning, and is a 1994 graduate of Corning Union High School. James is a fleet manager for Firestorm Wildland Fire Suppression, Inc. of Chico.

The wedding will be held on June 21, 2008 at Celebration Gardens in Corning.
