Business Spotlight - Olive City Chiropractic is our Business Spotlight of the Week. Dr. LL, DC, Lesa Lane of Olive City Chiropractic, 1416 Solano Street, has been in Corning since 1998. She has a busy office practicing chiropractic care. She also does a lot of Department of Transportation physicals, drug testing and nutritional counseling. She even has a special electronic nutritional analyzer. Lesa also does cold laser therapy.  

Lesa Lane grew up in the state of Montana and attended Duke University before going on to Chiropractic Life College West in Hayward, CA. Her hobbies are growing roses and photography. She is an American Rose Society Certified Judge and has won many awards over the years with her roses of which she has 600. Her newest hobby is photographing her roses. If you have any chiropractic needs, you may reach her at 824-1719.  

Corning Car Show - Get ready for some fun and excitement as we head into the Mother's Day Weekend!  

Corning Ford will kick off the event with a Car Show Mixer at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8. On Friday, registration begins at 4 p.m. at the Transportation Center and the Burnout Eliminations start at 5 p.m. There will be food and other vendors operating from 5 to 9 p.m. and the Cruise begins at 7 p.m.  

Saturday morning registration takes place at the Transportation Center from 7 to 10 a.m., and the Pancake Breakfast at the Corning Volunteer Fire Hall will be held at the same time. This is the first year at this location so take note. There will be more vendors throughout the day so there will be a variety of choices for lunch or snacks. The Hydraulic Show begins at 10 a.m. and the Burnout Finals are at 11 a.m. The Raffle Drawings will begin at 12 p.m., and the Awards Presentation will start at 3 p.m.

Debadoo Dance Co. Performance - At 2 p.m., Sunday, May 4, at the Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St., the Debadoo Dance Co. presents "Operation: Kids in America". Deb Meents is the dance instructor and joined the Corning Chamber of Commerce last July. Her students have performed at several community events. For tickets call (530) 680-9153.
