Police Blotter: March 2, 2013

FELONY

Sammy Daniel Roope, 44, of Santa Rosa, was arrested by a Tehama County sheriff's deputy at 5:38 p.m. Thursday on Hall Road near Thomas Creek, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail. Bail was set at $15,000.

Rodney Aaron Lyman, 38, of Redding, was arrested by Corning police at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on Loleta Avenue at Oren Avenue, near Corning, on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail on $15,000 bail.

DUI

Aaron Yuen, 61, of Red Bluff, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday on Paynes Creek Road in Paynes Creek on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail on $10,000.
