Director positions open up for CSC

Four new positions for two-year terms are opening up on the Corning Senior Center Board of Directors. All seniors interested in running for a position must be signed in by Friday, Jan. 15, in order to be placed on the ballot.

Voting for candidates will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Jan. 20. (Note date change.) New members can also sign up at this time.

The annual Corning Senior Center (CSC) membership meeting will be at 10 a.m. and include introduction of candidates, review of current finances, a 2009 event report, and goals and objections set for 2010; the CSC Board of Directors meeting will then be held at 12:30 p.m., during which time the newly elected board will be announced.

Friday, stuffed salmon with morney sauce.
