Tell us about a life-changing experience: When I became a mother. It was then I realized how hard my parents worked.

Whom do you most admire and why? My mom, who is a breast cancer survivor.

What brought you/family to this area? We lived in Capay and the kids wanted to go to the high school here.

What's your guilty pleasure? White mocha coffee

What is the best advice you have ever received? "Never say 'Never'"

Most embarrassing moment: One time, when I was coaching basketball and thought we had won, but we really had lost.

If you were going to donate time/money locally, where would it go towards? Kids' basketball programs
