At
2:06 a.m., a citizen on McClane Avenue reported at least three Hispanic males
were outside her residence, covered in blood, and pounding on her door. One
male in his forties was wearing blue shorts and bleeding from his face, and was
last seen heading southbound down the street. Department responded to the call,
but no further information was logged concerning this incident, however the
department was notified by the Tehama County Sheriff's Office at 12:20 p.m.,
regarding assistance with a possible physical disturbance involving three
Hispanic male adults at East and McClane avenues. Officers were again unable to
locate any subjects who had apparently left by the time of their arrival.
An unnamed female subject came to the department's office stating her arm was hurting due to being involved in a traffic collision. The subject requested negative medical attention, but a case, involving Lucia Santana Gonzalez, 46, and Minna Suzanne Aul, 67, was opened this date regarding the injury to subject's arm.
Officers at 12:32 p.m. arrested Bernardo Laredo, 29, of Corning for warrants issued out of Glenn County and the Red Bluff Police Department involving vehicular and alcohol-related charges. The arrest was made at the 1500th block of Solano.
At a residence on Fourth Street, around 6 p.m., Norman H. Cowdrey, 42, of Corning was arrested on six different warrants, one involving grand theft, Cowdrey was booked at the Tehama County Sheriff's Department and his bail was set at $287,500.
Officers at 10:55 p.m., arrested, Edward Alan Rypka, 32, of Corning, at Alameda Road and Sonoma Avenue. Rypka had had warrants out of the Corning Police Department and the Tehama County Sheriff's Department issued for his arrest regarding vehicular and alcohol-related violations.
