Occupation: Walberg Inc. contractor and owner of Red Truck Rock yard.

What is your favorite part of your job: Making our customers happy. Happy customers are great word of mouth advertising for free.

What was your first job: Burger King in Corning.

What are you hobbies and interests: I love, love, love being with my family watching Bud race. I also like to read and sew.

What do you like most about Corning: I love the small town community that bands together to support a friend in need. I was very ill last February and I wouldn't be so far ahead with my health if it wasn't for community help and support. I would like to thank all of you; you know who you are.

What would you like to change in Corning: Well I'm on the committee to reopen Rodgers Theater, so that is my first project right now. But I also see a need for more modern parks for our children and we need some fun activities for our teens.

Where is your favorite place to go in the area: Silver Dollar Speedway to watch my hubby race or Black Butte for a little wakeboarding.

What are you passionate about: Taking the best care of my family.

What is something you can't live without: My family, period.

What is your greatest accomplishment: Besides my two beautiful children, I would have to say surviving a 21-day coma last February caused by acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and an arterial bacterial infection.

Whom do you most admire and why: My husband. I've never met a man as hard working as him. He amazed me when I was ill. He was mom, dad, boss, and secretary. He did it all. Extraordinary.

What is your guilty pleasure: Dark chocolate and red wine.

What is your worst fear: Losing my husband and children.

What is something about yourself that your friends may not know: I hide a 1 pound box of See's Candy in my room. I only have one piece a day, and it lasts 30 days.

When you were a kid what did you want to be: I wanted to be a dermatologist or a lawyer.

What was your favorite toy as a kid: My red Honda three wheeler, "Lil Red"

What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day: Cuddle under a blanket reading a book with hot chocolate.

If you were granted one wish what would you wish for: My health to return, so I can play with my kids and help my husband more with the business.

Friends described her in three words: Resilient, inspirational, caring.

What are your goals for 2013: To rebuild my muscles and lungs since the coma. I want to be able to run with my little boy and play basketball with Mikalya.

What is your favorite thing about fall: The amazing colors God presents us with and I adore the cooler weather.
