Thanks to the many who gave support
During the recent fires in Orland; June 8, Lynnwood Fire and June 10, Bryan Fire, the City of Orland received a tremendous outpouring of help and support from a large number of agencies and individuals.
The following list is by no mean complete. There was a tremendous outpouring of assistance from the general public and the citizens and businesses of Orland as well. Round Table Pizza, Pizza Factory, Pizza Palace, The Ice Box, Alta Maries, Sav-Mor, Long's Drugs and the Willows Wal-Mart were instrumental in keeping the emergency personnel fed and hydrated.
The City of Orland wishes to thank the following community businesses and emergency response personnel as well as the countless numbers of those who did not leave names who came to our assistance: Willows Fire Department, CalFire, Artois Fire Department, Capay Fire Department, Bayliss Fire Department, Ord Bend Fire Department, Corning Fire Department, Kanawa Fire Department, Hamilton City Fire Department, United States Forest Service, Tehama County Fire Department, Orland Volunteers in Police Services, Willows Volunteers in Police Services, Glenn County Sheriff's Posse, Glenn County Sheriff's Search and Rescue, Willows Police Department, Glenn County Sheriff's Department and the American Red Cross.
