Millie Ella Ford

Millie Ella Ford passed away Tuesday July 1, 2008. She was born on April 10, 1914 in St. Paul, Arkansas to Patrick and America Myers.

Millie was raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and on December 25, 1934 she married Roy F. Ford. The couple lived in San Jose and Southern Idaho before settling in Butte County in 1959. They later lived in Tehama County for several years. Millie was a volunteer for Community Hospital and the Salvation Army. She attended Butte Bible Fellowship.

Millie is preceded in death by husband, Roy F. Ford and son, Roy N. Ford.

Millie is survived by her son, Doug Ford of Chico; grandchildren, Victoria, Valorie and Patrick; one great-grandchild and two great-great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held for Millie at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 8 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Corning. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home. Memories and thoughts of Millie may be shared online at nbcfh.com.
