Enjoy two jazz evenings

A special jazz-praise concert will be hosted by the Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. Oct. 8, 838 Jefferson St., in Red Bluff.

Musician Jim Martinez and his band will jazz renditions of familiar hymns and sacred music in the sanctuary.

Martinez and band will also put on "A Tribute to Doris Day," at 7 p.m. Friday, at the State Theatre for the Arts, 333 Oak St., in Red Bluff.

Cost of the church concert is $10, Doris Day tribute, $20. Ticket for both concerts is $25.
