Juanita Roberge St. George
Juanita
Roberge St. George, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at St. Elizabeth
Hospital in Red Bluff, one month before her 93rd birthday. Juanita
was born on Aug. 1, 1915, in Canton, Mass.
Juanita
grew up in Maine and then moved back to Massachusetts after she married Arnold
Raymond St. George. In the early 1950's, they moved to southern California and
Juanita worked at Sylvania Electric as a section foreman. She and her sisters
eventually formed a cleaning service and cleaned homes for such celebrities as
Della Street from the Perry Mason show. After 46 years of marriage, Arnold
passed away, and Juanita later married Arnold's cousin, Ramond Roberge, whose
spouse had also passed away. After Ramond's death, Juanita lived with her son,
Gus and his wife, Charlotte, living the last eight years of her life in
Corning.
Juanita
is survived by her sons, Gus (Charlotte) St. George of Corning and Ray St.
George of Fountain Valley, Calif.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren;
and great, great-grandchildren. Her family expresses how much she was loved.
A family
memorial will be held for Juanita at the beginning of August.
