Billy Dean Martin

Billy Dean Martin, 76, died Friday, June 13, 2008, in Chico. Bill was born on March 17, 1932 in Warsaw, Mo. He was a resident of Los Molinos for the last sixty-six years.

Bill married Bonny Jean Martin on June 17, 1953 in Reno, Nev. He worked as a millwright and machinist for Diamond International and Louisiana Pacific in Red Bluff, and Richfield Wood in Richfield. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and gardening. He was also known as a "Jack of all Trades", and his friends and neighbors brought him all sorts of things that needed fixing.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Bonny Jean.

Bill is survived by daughter, Pamala (Steve) Partsch of Cottonwood; son, Billy Jr. (Linda) Martin of Los Molinos; granddaughters, Tiffany Partsch of Sacramento, and Andrea Martin of Red Bluff; grandsons, Jeremy Partsch of Cottonwood and Clint Martin of Los Molinos; great-granddaughter, Hailey Madison-Ebert of Red Bluff; and brother, Lee (Betty) Martin of Corning.

Funeral services for Bill will be held at 1 p.m., tomorrow, June 19, in the chapel at Hall Brothers Corning Mortuary, 902 Fifth St. The burial and graveside service will take place in the Tehama Cemetery.
