Congressman Wally Herger will pay Tehama County citizens a visit at 2:30 p.m. at the Republican Headquarters, 225 Walnut St. in Red Bluff.
 
Veterans of Foreign War Bingo at 6 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St.

Los Molinos Chamber of Commerce annual meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. in the chamber office, 7904 Hwy. 99E. For more information, call 384-1706.

Thursday
Flu shots for infants and pregnant women will be given from 10 a.m. to noon at the Rancho Tehama Recreation Center. Shots will also be given on Nov. 13 in Corning.

Corning in the Evening will be at 5:30 p.m., hosted by Salado Orchard Apartments, 250 Toomes Ave. Participants are reminded to bring business cards for drawing.

Corning Family Resource Center, 9 a.m. to noon, sewing class; 6 to 7 p.m., Women’s Support Group; 6 to 8 p.m., ESL class. Corning Family Resource Center is located at the corner of West and South streets, 824-7670.

Friday
Harvest Festival between 5 and 8:30 p.m., at the Harvest Christian Center, 1006 Sixth Ave. Games and treats for everyone.

Safe Halloween Kids Party will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St.

Saturday
Sixth Annual Salmon Derby runs 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Woodson Bridge RV Park east of Corning. Registration fee includes a full breakfast, the derby and a chance to win prizes. For more information, call 839-2151.

Yard sale for the Corning Rockettes Dance Team will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 320 Solano St., the corner of Solano and Marguerite streets

Fundraiser for Senior Center will run between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., corner of South and Fourth streets. Art, craft and rummage tables along with chowder and potato bar.

All Church Bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Colusa and A streets in Orland. Lots of homemade and holiday crafts and baked goods for sale. Sandwich lunches for $4 provided between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information, call 865-4590 or 893-9218.

Soup’s On Luncheon will take place between 1 and 3 p.m. at First Christian Church, 1421 Marin St. The luncheon for $5 includes soup “crockpot” meals with bread, beverages and desserts.

Nov. 8
TC CattleWomen luncheon/fashion show starts at 10 a.m. in Carino’s at Rolling Hills Casino. Tickets cost $25 and must be purchased by Tuesday by calling 529-9679 or 385-2616.

Paskenta Fall dinner/dance with dessert auction will start 6 p.m. at the Paskenta Community Hall. Beef and barbecue lamb dinner tickets may be purchased at the Flournoy County, Emily Murphy, Butte Community Bank or Corning and Red Bluff Chambers of Commerce.

Free Gospel concert to be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Bethel Assembly of God, 625 Luther Road in Red Bluff will feature the Herb Henry Family and southern gospel/inspirational music.

Veterans Day Parade starts at 11 a.m. in front of City Hall, Third and Solano streets. A presentation and barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers will follow at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St.
