Miranda graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Anthony J. Miranda, a Corning High alum, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

During the eight-week program, Miranda completed training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. This training also credited him with four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Miranda is a 2010 graduate of Corning High. He is the son of Jennifer Briseno of Corning.
