Monchamp deployed as brigade member

Army Sgt. Christopher S. Monchamp will be serving as a member of the 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade out of Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash., to serve in the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Monchamp, a human intelligence collector, will lend intelligence support during and after upcoming elections in Iraq. Monchamp is normally assigned to the 109th Military Battalion at Fort Lewis.

Parker is a 2004 graduate of Los Molinos High School. He is the son of Debra J. Pasillas of Gerber.
