Peterson graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman Steven W. Peterson has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the eight-week program, Peterson completedtraining in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. This training also credited him with four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Peterson earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of William and Natalie Peterson of Corning. The airman is a 2009 graduate of Providence Christian High School, Orland
