Corning in the Evening - Last Thursday, June 12, approximately 40 people gathered for Corning in the Evening. The Comfort Inn, 910 Hwy 99W graciously hosted the monthly event. There was plenty of food and refreshments along with freshly baked cookies. Manager Bonnie Davis spoke to the crowd about what the motel has to offer which includes Jacuzzis in eight of the rooms, and an indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. The Comfort Inn offers an extended breakfast that includes waffles and other delicious choices. They are also "pet-friendly". The rooms were full that evening because many firemen were guests during the area fires last week so the attendees were not able to tour the rooms as planned.
