Corning Chamber of Commerce reports: April 15
Corning Chamber of Commerce update
Business Spotlight
The Corning Chamber of Commerce's spotlight is on the pet-grooming business, Waggs, located at 1920 Solano St. Jackie Chapman opened Waggs three years ago with the urging from her friend Kelly. Waggs is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so Kelly can travel and compete in dog shows. Jackie, the owner, also moved to Corning eight years ago from Pleasanton. Her family has 20 acres of land where they raise llamas and other animals. Jackie and her husband have three children. One is studying at UC Davis to be a veterinarian, one is a computer engineer in Los Angeles and one is studying at a junior college in Pleasanton.
