Wedding: Miramontes-Rivera

Maria and Nicola Miramontes of Ukiah announced the marriage to their daughter, Andrea Cruz Miramontes to Jacinto Rivera of Corning, the son of Rosa Rivera and the late Jacinto Rivera Jr.

The Sept. 10 wedding took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in Los Angeles, followed by a reception at the Westin in Pasadena, where guests enjoyed a 12-piece Mariachi band, a traditional Ballet Folklorico dancer, food and drinks.

The 28-year-old bride earned a bachelor's degree in Child Development at California State University, Chico, and is a student pursuing a degree in nursing.

Rivera, 27, earned his bachelor's degree is Sociology at California State University, Los Angeles, where he played baseball, qualifying for the College World Series. He is an assets protection executive at Target.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and reside in Sacramento.
