Four new positions for two year terms are opening up on the Corning Senior Center Board of Directors. Voting for candidates will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 16. The regular meeting will be at 10 a.m. and include introduction of candidates, review of current finances, a 2009 event report, and goals and objections set for 2010.
Meals
Monday - macaroni and cheese w/ham
Tuesday - turkey w/gravy
Wednesday - sweet and sour pork (ethnic)
Thursday - Sloppy Joes w/cheese
Friday - chicken noodle soup (healthy heart)
Reservations for lunches served Monday through Friday at the Corning Senior Center, corner of Fourth and South streets, are mandatory. Details: 824-4727.
