Chamber Chat: July 28
Spotlight willing to adjust
Olive City Insurance Agency, 1610 Solano St., Ste. B, is the Corning Chamber of Commerce's spotlight for the week. The business is open from 9 a.m. — 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. Fridays. After hours appointments are always available. For more information, call 824-9900.
Amy White has been in the insurance business for 14 years and opened this office in April, at which time they also became a chamber member.
"I specialize in personal and commercial insurance products such as home and auto packages, commercial general liability insurance, preferred and standard auto, special event insurance and I also offer health and life insurance," said Amy.
Amy wants you to know that Olive City Insurance Agency is locally owned and operated. "We can help you find the best rate for your insurance needs. We have the ability to rate your insurance with several different companies, not just one. We offer immediate proof of insurance cards, immediate SR-22 filings and notary public services by appointment. We also offer information on California Healthy Families," White said.
Amy is married to Thomas White, owner of Tom White Concrete and has been a resident of Corning for 39 years. Together they have six children; three sons and three daughters, and her husband has two grandchildren. Amy's hobby is gardening and she also enjoys spending time with close friends and family.
When asked if there are any future changes to what she is doing, she said, "Olive City Insurance Agency will grow and change with the community needs."

Time to order T-shirts
T-shirt order forms for the Olive Festival T-shirts have been sent to members who have a current e-mail address on file.
We encourage all to order now and take advantage of the ten percent discount for your business by getting your order in before Aug. 6. An additional ten percent will be taken off for orders of ten or more T-shirts.
For those who did not receive an order form and would like to order T-shirts early, give the chamber a call at 824-5550, or stop by and get one at the office, 1110 Solano St.
The T-shirts this year have a futuristic theme, "Where No Olive has Gone Before," following along the lines that this is the 21st Annual Olive Festival for the Chamber and in the 21st Century, the olive has been taken to new levels in packaging and flavoring. Chamber Director Marti Syed designed the T-shirts.
