    Family: I have three brothers and one sister.

    Occupation: After 32 years, I retired from teaching high school.

    Favorite part of the job: Working with the students and the staff.

    What do you like most about Corning? That it is a friendly, small town.

    What would you like to change in Corning? I would like to see more things for young people to do.

    Tell us about a life-changing experience: Accepting Jesus Christ as my savior.

    If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? I'd wish that the homeless and hungry would be taken care of.

    Whom do you most admire and why? My mother. She was a wonderful, loving person.

    Best advice you have ever received: To be honest with yourself and others.

    What are your favorite places to go in the area? I like going to the "Fountain of Health" gym.

    What was your first job? Babysitting and ironing when I was 12 years old.

    If you were a superhero, what would your power be? I'd like to have the ability to end hate and war.

    What's something you can't live without? My dog

    What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? That I have been to Bolivia.

    Do you have any pet peeves? People being late.

    Something unique about yourself: I like to clean.

    What kind of pets do you have? I have a dog.

    Hobbies/interests: Reading, working at Corning Christian Assistance, and working out at "Fountain of Health."

    Where do you get your news? The TV and newspaper.

    What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Watching baseball on TV.

    What is your dream job? Retirement

    What are some of your fondest memories? Getting to travel to Alaska, New York, Philly, and Nova Scotia with my family. Watching my nephews play baseball and football.

    Favorite book: I have so many. "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand and "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett.

    What are your favorite food? Mexican

    Favorite musical group: "The Eagles"

    If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would you be and why? A horse. I have always wanted one and they are so beautiful.

    What's your guilty pleasure? Donuts and QVC home shopping.

    What quality in people do you most admire? Kindness and being hardworking.

    What was your favorite toy as a child? My bicycle

    Favorite superhero? "Green Lantern"

    Favorite television show: "Criminal Minds"

    Worst television show: "The Suite Life of Jack and Cody"

    Favorite movie: "The Hustler" with Paul Newman

    Worst movie ever made: "Saw I, II, etc"

    Worst fear: Being buried alive.
