Crime Reports: Man arrested with 7 pounds of meth
A parole search on a man parked on San Mateo Avenue in Gerber led to an arrest and seizure of more than 7 grams of methamamphetamine and related material, the Tehama County Sheriff's Deparment reported.
Shawn Thompson, 33, no address listed, was booked into Tehama County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance and bringing a controlled substance into jail. He was held on a no-bail parole hold.
The department reported that 0.5 grams of meth, scales, drug packaging material and chemicals used to "cut" methamphetamine were found durng the initial search of the car about 4 p.m. Saturday.
Later, about 6.7 grams of methamphetamine located in packets on his body were found at the jail, the department reported.
Traffic stop results in drug arrest
Teresa Morrow was arrested about 12:40 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance after Tehama County sheriff's deputies reportedly found .1 grams of methamphetamine and a glass meth pipe during a search following a traffic stop on C Street in Tehama
She was booked into Tehama County Jail. Bail was set at $33,000.
Man accused of nude peeping in Red Bluff
Dallin Edward Foster, 21, of Red Bluff, was arrested by Red Bluff police around 12:40 a.m. Sunday when he was reported to be peeping into a bedroom window on First Street in Red Bluff while nude.
According to reports, Foster admitted to police he was in the nude, but was only looking for a lighter to smoke a cigarette. A witness told police he was looking in her bedroom window.
Foster was booked into the Tehama County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure and peeping, and released on a promise to appear in Tehama County Superior Court.
