Letter: Collecting toys for kids

The Marine Corps League is doing the Toys for Tots campaign in Tehama County for 2011.

We've placed a collection box at Java Lanes in Corning.

Jerry and Beverly Martini have generously agreed to give one free game of bowling for each new unwrapped toy brought to the bowling alley between now and Dec. 10.

Once again the Martini's have come through for the folks here in Corning and Tehama County.

We have boxes set out at locations around town.

We at Toys for Tots hope to be able to bring Christmas to the youngsters of Tehama County.
