Geer completes cadet training

John Geer of Corning has completed Californina Highway Patrol (CHP) cadet training and has been assigned duty at the CHP Monterey Area office. During his training, Geer completed training in apprehension and arrest, accident investigation, vehicular incidents, and knowledge in report writing, citations, and codes. Geer is a 2002 graduate of Corning Union High School. Prior to joining the CHP, he studied general education at Butte Community College, Oroville and worked as a computer tech for Hammer Head Tech
