Seeking candidates for Miss Corning

Any young lady who is interested in a year of meeing people, having fun, and being an ambassador for the City of Corning needs to enter this year's Miss Corning Program to be held in August just previous to the Olive Festival.

The Corning Chamber of Commerce is seeking candidates who would like to be a contestant and help shape a great competition.

The Miss Corning competition will take place August 16, at the Memorial Hall in Corning.

Anyone interested in being a candidate can call the Chamber office at 824-5550 or stop by the office located at 1110 Solano St., and pick up a packet.

There will be an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Chamber office.
