Apply for Ronald S. Knight Memorial Scholarship

The Ronald S. Knight Memorial Scholarship Committee has four $2,000 scholarships available for the 2012 academic year.

Eligible students are current high school students, or graduates from a high school within the Tehama County Cattlemen's Association boundaries carrying 12 or more units in an accredited community college, or four-year college or univeristy, and have an agricultural or ag-related major.

Selection will be based on scholastic achievement, community activities and work experience.

Applicants must send a letter with the following information: when and where you graduated or expect to graduate from high school; your most current high school transcripts, and for college students high school and current college transcripts; where you plan to enroll; proposed major and career plans.

Include a brief résumé and cover letter about yourself and how this scholarship will help meet your career goals, and information about how to contact you. Eeach applicant needs to send a current photograph as well.
