Woman stabbed three times in Los Molinos fight

A 29-year-old Los Molinos woman is home recovering after reportedly being stabbed three times during a fight on Saturday.

The Tehama County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded around 11 p.m. to a disturbance on Josephine Street in Los Molinos, where they learned Ruth Leigh Fisher had been stabbed in the face and leg during a reported fight with Deanna Jean Hogan-Surtees, 29, of Los Molinos.

Deputies reported Hogan used a folding knife to stab Fisher once in the face and twice in the upper right leg.

Fisher was transported by medical helicopter to Enloe Medical Center in Chico for treatment.

Hogan was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail on suspicion of mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $130,000.
