Jehovahs biking

More than 50 courageous, but perspiring, members of the local Jehovah's Witnesses Church rode bicycles from Red Bluff to Corning on Saturday morning in 100 degree weather. "We didn't know it was going to be so hot today," Brenda Gonzalez said. Above, she and the group rest on Gallagher Avenue. Pictured are, from left, Miriam Farias, Gris Modesto, Antonio Modesto, Gonzalez, Jose Mejia, Marcos Sanchez, Cassandra Sanchez, Guadalupe Mejia, and Estephany Sanchez. They traveled down Rawson Road from the Red Bluff Community Center to Corning's Northside Park, where they had a party and cooled off with a dip in the city pool
