The Corning Lions' Peewee Division team was the undefeated champion of the NorCalFed Northern Conference Division II and made it all the way to the Super Bowl.

While their season ended Nov. 10 with a 20-6 loss to the Chico Scorchers, the season was still a big success for the Corning Lions Peewee Division squad.
Mikey Rodriguez's 55-yard scoring run accounted for Corning's touchdown, and the defense made a goalline stop and Rodriguez also intercepted a pass in the end zone.
Not only did the peewees make it to the NorCalFed Super Bowl and finish the year 11-1, but they were the undefeated champions of the Northern Conference's Division II.
In addition to the peewees championship, the jr. midgets were 9-1 and also undefeated division champions.
