Corning wins laugher at Lassen

The Cardinals' post man scored four buckets in the second quarter, while the host Grizzlies didn't have any, to aid Corning's 64-40 thrashing of Lassen in Susanville Tuesday night.
The Cardinals went on a 24-2 run in the second quarter to take control of the game and though the teams played even after the break, Lassen could not make up any lost ground.
Piseno finished with 15 points, Cameron Nye scored 20 to post the game high and Tyler McIntyre netted 13.
The Cardinals (5-0 NAL, 16-5) hosted Anderson for homecoming Friday night, kicking off the second round of league play, and Lassen visits on Tuesday.
