Athletics win league title

The Athletics of Corning Little League’s Major Girls Division won the league championship, wrapping up the season with a forfeit victory over the Angels on June 7.

The A’s finished the regular season with a record of 10-5 (5-1 league).

The A’s hosted the Cottonwood Wildcats in the first round of the Tournament of Champions, but results were not available at press time.
