Straight Shooters

The Corning Shooting Club held its first-ever Sporting Clay Shoot at Clear Creek Sports Club on June 7. There were 12 teams of five competing, and everyone enjoyed shooting sporting clays, a tri-tip lunch and a raffle with many prizes. The winning teams were: first place - Mike Clark Construction (pictured), second place - Patterson Electric, third place - Wildlife West, Inc.
The teams were coached by Don Minto, James Lamb, Tom Jones and John Kussick. The teams appreciated Brad Henman and the rest of CCSC’s crew for allowing the use of its facilities for the competition.
